Volunteer Postion: 
Content Writer

OUL (Organization Unique Learners for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing) is seeking dedicated
volunteers. Through your contribution, you can make a meaningful impact on our
community, share valuable knowledge with others, and become an integral part of our
team. 

 

Responsibilities  

● You will write content for blogs, websites, and social media. You will research
interesting topics to write about. The topics are neurodevelopmental differences
(learning disability, ADHD, and others). 


● You will create new content and update existing materials to keep them accurate
and engaging. Your writing should connect with the community while maintaining
consistent information. 


● You will collect information on various topics related to learning disabilities and
stay updated on current trends, educational resources, and community programs
that affect the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. 
● Assist management in producing OUL's monthly newsletter. 

 
Requirements: 


You need good writing skills and the ability to adjust your style for different reading
audiences. Strong grammar and proofreading skills are important for creating content. 
 
Your job includes writing both long and short contents. You'll research topics and work with
management to ensure content aligns with the organization's goals. 
 

Working Volunteer: 


You can work on your own schedule. However, some tasks will have deadlines that need to be
met.
