OUL (Organization of Unique Hearing for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing) is seeking dedicated volunteers to work with their website. Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated volunteer to assist our Web Designer in maintaining and updating our organization's website and digital materials. This role provides valuable experience in web design while contributing to our mission.

Key Responsibilities

 

• Assist with updates and maintenance of our Wix-based website

• Create and edit visual content for web pages following our organization's design guidelines

• Develop graphics and promotional materials 

• Ensure all web content adheres to our established color palette and design standards

• Help implement changes to improve website navigation and user experience

• Support the Web Designer with content uploads and formatting

• Desirable Qualifications 

Proficiency with the Wix webdesign platform

 

• Experience with either Adobe Express or Canva design tools

• Understanding of (or willingness to learn) our organization's visual identity and web design standards

• Ability to work with our official color palette and how to apply it consistently

• Basic understanding of web design principles and best practices

• Attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Reliable and able to meet deadlines

Time Commitment

This volunteer position offers flexible scheduling, but we may ask you to work extra hours if new projects are necessary to meet a deadline. The initial commitment period is three months, with an option for extended service period..
