Scarlett's Park is excited to announce the launch of an innovative new session titled "Interpreting with a Deaf Heart," scheduled to take place on February 21, 2026. This session is designed to deepen the understanding of interpreting within the Deaf community, focusing on the emotional and cultural nuances that are essential

for effective communication.

Session Format and Accessibility


To ensure that this valuable learning experience is accessible to a wide audience, the session will be offered in both in-person and virtual formats. This dual approach allows participants from various geographical locations to engage with the content and interact with instructors and peers, fostering a diverse learning environment.

Continuing Education Units

Participants will have the opportunity to earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs) from both the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) and the Board for Evaluation of Interpreters (BEI). These CEUs are crucial for professionals in the field, as they contribute to the ongoing development and certification maintenance required for interpreters.

Supportive Features

To enhance the learning experience, Scarlett's Park will provide American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting and captioning services throughout the session.
